Coffee doesn’t care what you drink it out of, and neither do we. This is the cup for tailgates, trailheads, and the back porch at 6 a.m. when the good mugs are still in the dishwasher.
Twelve ounces is the right size for camp coffee. It’s enough for a proper cup and small enough to finish before the morning air cools it down. Fill it from a pour-over, a percolator, or whatever you brewed in the dark with a headlamp on.
The enamel-coated steel takes a beating and keeps its looks. Toss it in the pack, knock it off a tailgate, set it on a camp stove. It’ll dent before it quits, and the dents count as experience. There’s no plastic taste and nothing to shatter when it rolls off the picnic table. It also makes a good cup for oatmeal, soup, or the whiskey that shows up after the coffee. Maybe not together though.
The Pinkies Down mark is less a logo and more a house rule. Good coffee is for everybody. Don’t get too precious about it.
